Constructora Proycon has a high commitment to contribute to reducing the impact that constructions generate both on the environment and on the society or communities that we affect, so we implement strategies that contribute to sustainable development during the execution of the work.
To achieve this impact, we work on two axes, one environmental management and the other towards society.
ENVIRONMENTAL AXIS
Good environmental practices are implemented during the construction phase, so that it has the minimum impact on the environment, aligned with the principles of sustainable construction established in the Ecological Blue Flag Program and the LEED parameters in projects that request it. The company works internally and externally, benefiting populations with specific needs, seeking improvements in socioeconomic conditions.
Internally, we have a donation program of construction materials for home improvement to collaborators according to detected needs.
Externally, donations are made to vulnerable populations, parishes and organized communities in the areas of influence of our projects, which contribute to the well-being of the identified social groups.
Among them donations of construction materials, food and other aid campaigns due to national emergencies such as the one generated by COVID-19 in which with the contribution of collaborators and the company, we managed to donate 200 newspapers in needy populations in Bethlehem, Cartago and the fishermen.
SUPPORT FOR THE CRC ENDURANCE FOUNDATION
Support for the CRC Endurance Foundation aims to fully detect and develop young people between the ages of 13 and 16 who have a sports talent and a special condition, either; social, economic, or psychological. The foundation intends to use sport as a tool to transform young people into positive leaders to generate an impact in Costa Rican society.
